After accepting what the above exercise had shown me; a glimpse into the inner me, I thought, and pondered, and imagined, and then I wrote this poem.
I Wonder
I wonder who will read this after I have left?
Will the words still speak to a world I had never seen?
Is there a thread of humanity that flows from beginning to end?
Do the words of poets before me speak through the words that I write?
Does my love still warm the heart of a soul I have never had a chance to meet?
I cannot ever answer these questions. I can only lean on my small bit of faith in God.
